Privacy policy
Your privacy is part of your experience on Khafji Map.

Information you provide
When you register, we store the details you enter, such as your username, display name, email, phone number and country, together with account operation data. Passwords are stored as hashes, not readable text. We may also store favourites, plans, place requests, offers and feedback you submit.
Shops and published content
Visitors can see a shop’s name, description, images and published products and services. Contact details and location appear according to the owner’s settings. Account email and recovery phone details are not automatically displayed on the shop page. Avoid publishing private information in descriptions, images, messages or shared content.
Plans and sharing
People with a shared plan link can view the content available in it. Plans protected with a PIN require that PIN to open. Your creator name may appear if you enable that option. Do not share a guest plan management link, as it grants control of the plan.
Cookies and device storage
Cookies support sign-in, language preferences, form security and visit counting while limiting duplicate counts. Your device may also store supporting data such as a draft plan, preferences and site files used for installation. Clearing browser storage may sign you out or remove locally saved data.
Statistics and protection
The site stores aggregate visit, section and search statistics, including search terms, to improve the service. Identifiers derived from connection addresses or browser information help limit repeated attempts and abuse. Hosting providers may keep technical logs including IP addresses and request times. Avoid entering sensitive personal information in search.
Location information
Your browser may request location permission when you use a feature that needs it. You can refuse permission or revoke it in your browser settings. Coordinates submitted with a place request or shop details are stored to show its location; choose the business location you intend to publish.
External services
Google Maps, WhatsApp, Snapchat and other external links are governed by their own policies. Map services embedded in a page may receive technical data when a map loads. If third-party advertisements or code are enabled, their providers may use cookies or collect data under their own policies.
Use of and access to data
Data supports accounts, shops and plans, recovery requests, content review and service improvement and protection. Administrators and moderators can access data relevant to their tasks according to permissions. Hosting and email services used to operate the site may process data.
Retention and deletion
Data needed to provide services and manage content is retained. You can edit information and delete content using the available account and shop controls. Some deleted content goes to a recycle bin before permanent deletion, and copies may remain in backups or technical logs. Contact us to request review, correction or deletion of your data. Disabling an account does not permanently delete it.
