Buns Theory

Buns Theory in Al Khafji
Buns Theory is a burger restaurant in Al Khafji serving beef and chicken sandwiches, fries and combination meals. Its sandwiches differ in cheese, onion preparation, sauce and chicken style. Orders span individual sandwiches, two-sandwich combinations with fries, a chicken-strips meal and a separate children’s option.

Mega Theory and Smash Theory
Mega Theory combines grilled beef with beef bacon, Swiss cheese, crispy onion and a sweet-and-sour sauce. Smash Theory uses two grilled beef patties with caramelised onion, American cheese and a smoky sauce, accompanied by seasoned fries. The distinction is in the toppings as well as the beef: crispy onion and Swiss cheese in Mega, versus caramelised onion and American cheese in Smash.

Two chicken styles
Crispy Theory pairs crispy chicken with Cajun sauce, cheese and lettuce, with seasoned fries alongside. The Gold takes a different approach, combining grilled and smoked chicken breast with Japanese miso sauce and American cheese, also served with fries. These are two distinct chicken preparations, with the Cajun-and-lettuce combination separating Crispy Theory from The Gold’s miso-based filling.

Fries and sauces
Texas Fries are seasoned fries, while Cheesy Fries add an American cheddar sauce. Chilli Cheese Fries combine fries with beef, hot chilli sauce, cheddar, mozzarella and jalapenos. Cheese, smoky, Cajun, miso and hot sauces are also listed separately, allowing the sauce to be chosen alongside the sandwich or side.

Twin combinations
Twin meals pair two sandwiches with seasoned fries. The choices include two Crispy Theory sandwiches, two Smash Theory burgers or two Gold sandwiches. Mixed combinations put Smash together with Crispy Theory or The Gold, while the chicken pairing brings Crispy Theory and The Gold into the same order.

Children’s meals and drinks
The children’s meal contains a crispy chicken sandwich, seasoned fries, juice and a Buns Theory toy. The strips meal consists of three crispy chicken strips with seasoned fries. Drinks include Secret Theory Juice, a tropical-fruit mixture, as well as water and soft drinks.
